With 20 years of operational expertise in the enterprise technology space, Nathan brings a unique skill-set and perspective to Grand Ventures. In his previous roles, he has successfully exited companies and BUs to Oracle, VMware and Bain, raising north of $120 million of venture funding.

Before joining Grand Ventures in the autumn of 2021, Nathan served as COO/CRO at HYCU, a Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS) vendor based in Boston, leading the company to a 450% growth YOY sales growth as well as a prosperous sale to Bain in 2021. As co-founder and CEO of 12 years at Blue Medora, a software vendor in the observability segment of the enterprise space, Nathan raised over $30 million, grew the company to $15 million in revenue, and led a successful sale of Blue Medora’s VMware-focused business unit to VMare in 2020. His previous roles included a four-year stint at IBM as a Business Development Executive and as a co-founder and SVP of Sales at OctetString, Inc. in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Nathan earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University.
