Grand’s September Newsletter

This month at Grand Ventures, we’re highlighting a major funding round for one of the fastest-growing companies in our portfolio, new launches and milestones across the portfolio, and a busy fall ahead for the Grand team.

Comp AI Raises $34M Series A

Grand Ventures co-led Comp AI’s $34M Series A alongside Roo Capital following a breakout year that included 15x YoY ARR growth and more than 1,000 customers.

Nathan Owen shares why we doubled down, what stood out about the team from the beginning, and why we believe Comp AI has an opportunity to reshape how companies approach compliance and cybersecurity.

Portfolio Momentum

Several Grand Ventures portfolio companies announced new funding, products, customers, and recognition this month, including:

  • Carputty closed its Series B, bringing total funding to more than $40M to scale its AI-powered auto finance platform.
  • BrokerBot continued expanding its customer base with several new brokerage and real estate customers.
  • InvestNext was named PropTech Breakthrough’s Investment Management Platform of the Year for the second consecutive year.
