Grand Ventures Leads Seed Investment in Manatee

We’re excited to introduce the most recent addition to our portfolio! Manatee is a digital platform that integrates pediatric behavioral health therapy into the daily lives of families. The family app gamifies therapy and enables continuous support for kids by setting, reminding, and tracking their treatment goals. The provider platform compiles visual insights in a clinical dashboard, unlocking effective, value-based care and streamlined communication for providers.  Their current health system partners include Children’s Hospital LA, Children’s Hospital Wisconsin, Mental Health Center of Denver, and more.

Today, Manatee announced a seed investment round of $1.53 million led by Grand Ventures. Other investors include The American Family Insurance Institute for Corporate and Social Impact, Telosity, SpringTime Ventures, and notable healthcare entrepreneurs Danish Munir, Luke Leninger, and Jonathan Weiner.

“We were extremely impressed with the caliber of the team and their ability to close partnerships with some of the most prominent healthcare systems in the country,” said Grand Ventures Principal, Camila Noordeloos. “2020 is an important moment for the behavioral health market, and Manatee addresses many of the industry’s key challenges. We’re very excited to build the future of pediatric behavioral health in partnership with Manatee.”
